I wasn’t really cut out for a career in music. It took me years to get comfortable with the idea that my “day job” was in fact my career, and that that’s where I was supposed to be. I’ve made a lot of life-long friends through music, and I wouldn’t change that.
Even though I’m not a “professional musician,” here’s a list of, well, just about everything I’ve done.
I’ve played in a few bands and made a few records:
- Anti-Social Music
- The Gena Rowlands Band
- Flesh And Spirits (2007)
- Poor But Sexy
- Fast Eddie (Music Conspiracy) (1999-2006)
- Likeness To Lily (2004-2005)
- Solitude’s Dollhouse (2005)
- Zero Beat (2001-2004)
- Live Evolution, Evil Genius (2002-2003)
I’ve played with a few bands and on a few of their records:
piano and organ on Nothing Here is Mine (2017)
piano, electric piano, and cello (synth) in the CD release show for Midnight Creep/Noonday Stomp (2013)
electric piano and organ in live shows supporting Need the Music and leading up to Let it In (2011-2013)

piano on We Were All Together (2008)
organ on “Atone”, “The Art Of Levitation”, “Fukantop”, “Bible And A Gun”, and “Bella” from Day Of Reckoning (2007)
keyboards on “Bees”, “I’m Pretty Sure I Can See Molecules”, “Safe & Sound”, “Ear Nose & Throat Pt. II”, and “The Do The Build The House” from Making Beds In A Burning House (2005)
The Gena Rowlands Band
organ on “Tom Shroder’s Blues” from La Merde Et Les Etoiles (2005)
keyboards on “Sleep Around”, “King Of Doves”, “Souvenirs”, and “I’m Not Afraid” from Glass Floor (2004)
string arrangement on “Angry Angel” from Travistan (2004)
various interludes on Platinum (2000)
I write music for non-rock bands, typically small chamber ensembles. Here’s everything I’ve written that would be considered “classical.”
